Inarajan watershed

Inarajan watershed is located in the south of Inarajan Village. It has a drainage area of 8.55 sq. miles. The main rivers in the watershed include Agfayan River, Pasananu River, Fintasa River, Inarajan River, Dante River, Fensol River, Topony River, Nelansa River, Tongan Creek, Yledigao River and Laolao River with approximate lengths of 3.23 miles, 2.16 miles, 2.12 miles, 1.71 miles, 1.61 miles, 1.2 miles, 1.18 miles, 1.02 miles, 0.77 mile, 0.61 mile and 0.39 mile respectively. Agfayan River discharges to Agfayan Bay, and Inarajan River discharges to Inarajan Bay. The highest elevation is about 1036 feet (342 meters) in the west of the watershed. The forest area is about 87.9%%, and the developed area is about 8.0%. The soil types mainly include Ylig clay,Togcha-Akina silty clays, Sasalaguan clay, Pulantat clay, Inarajan clay, Chacha clay, badland, Agfayan clay, Shioya loamy sand, rock and urban land complex.
