Southern Guam (areal extent)

About this map:

This map shows southern Guam, as defined by the shoreline and the Pago-Adelup fault (the major geologic fault that separates the northern from the southern half of the island). This map defines the extent of southern Guam for the purposes of this digital atlas. The area south of the Pago-Adelup fault sets the boundary for all maps included herein. The geospatial data were derived from the shoreline dataset provided by the Bureau of Statistics and Plans (BSP) and the fault line dataset (Source: Geologic Map of Guam by Siegrist, H.G. and Reagan, M., 2008). The raw data download package for this map also includes a newer shoreline dataset created in 2014 as part of the National Hydrography Dataset (NHD) Update.
