Shaded relief with elevation

About this map:

This map shows the elevation and relief of terrain in southern Guam. It was created from a 2-meter resolution LiDAR-derived, by means of GIS spatial analysis techniques. LiDAR data were collected in 2007 by JALBTX for the Government of Guam. It consists of two separate layers: DEM classified into elevation intervals and colored and a hillshade (hypsometric tinted shaded relief) layer. This approach creates an illusion of viewing terrain in 3D, while also conveying elevation information.
