Drainage network (all mapped streams and rivers)

About this map:

This map shows the extent of streams and rivers in southern Guam. Southern Guam is characterized by a well developed drainage network, in contrast with the highly porous, karstified land surface in the northern half of the island. The geospatial data were derived from the recently updated National Hydrography Database (NHD) by the United States Geological Survey (USGS) in collaboration with Bureau of Statistics and Plans (BSP) and the Water and Environmental Research Institute of the Western Pacific (WERI). The dataset was extracted from the NHD Flowline dataset and slightly modified. The original NHD data can also be viewed and downloaded using the NHD Viewer.
